Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Cook the ground beef in the skillet until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Season the beef with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.
  5. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Fold in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled feta cheese.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish is great on its own or served with rice, couscous, or crusty bread. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
