A delightful and easy-to-make pasta dish featuring steak, mushrooms, and creamy sauce, perfect for impressing family or guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of ravioli (preferably cheese or mushroom filled)
  • 2 steaks (about 6–8 oz each)
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, and sear them in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are golden brown.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes and heavy cream to the skillet, stir well, and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Slice the steaks and add them to the creamy sauce, then mix in the cooked ravioli.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing for the best flavor. Adjust garlic amount according to taste.
